News from the Africa Tech-vine is that Kenyan coders created Guzmo, Africa’s first Video Conferencing App.
This is exciting news for a number of reasons. The first is that Africa is that as per a zdnet.com report in 2018, Africa is the largest mobile phone region with 444 million mobile subscribers, 250 million of those have a smartphone. This app would mean that communication would be improved across the board.
Secondly, let’s not forget that many children around the world have been doing online courses since the COVID-19 Pandemic hit, plus the adults conducting business online as well. This app is also reported to be a more affordable option.
