1. Sen. Hawley is cancelled
The Publishers of Missouri Senator Josh Hawley’s book have cancelled the contract. Newsweek reports that Simon & Schuster released a statement saying that, “As a publisher, it will always be our mission to amplify a variety of voices and viewpoint: at the same time we take seriously our larger public responsibility as citizens, and cannot support Senator Hawley after his role in what became a dangerous threat to our democracy and freedom.” Senator Hawley is blaming the “cancel culture” and vows to fight back as per his twitter statement.
2. Lifetime African Presidency Syndrome
What did someone put in the water in Africa back in the day? The Leaders seemed to start with such great love for the people and freedom, and then something happened along the way. How else do you explain someone being in power for 35 years, and counting? With the exception of 2 or 3, the rest seem to want to rule till death do them part. The Conversation has a great article as we try to figure out this complex question about the older generation. The good news is the younger generation is on the rise.

3. #BussItChallenge
We need to go back to being outdoors Fam! The viral video ideas seem to be going down an interesting path. Not too long ago, it was the #trickychallenge (okay, that was cute), then out came the #fufuchallenge (not funny at all), now it’s the #bussitchallenge (chiropractor anyone?) … anyone else wondering what’s next?
