#1 MoCo Indoor Capacity
Montgomery County is reconsidering the December 15 MoCo ban on indoor dining. The Bethesda Magazine reports that the County’s Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security, told the County Council on Tuesday that the change would strike a balance between safety and economic health. The earliest vote could be on February 9. If passed, that Order would allow restaurants in the County to reopen for indoor dining at 25%.
#2 Republicans Under Watch
Division in the Republican Party is brewing as a decision needs to be made about two of their own. Representative Marjorie Taylor of Georgia and Representative Liz Cheney of Wyoming are under fire for different reasons. The New York Times reports the division in the Party as decisions need to be made on how to deal with one who is inciting the public, and another who voted to impeach the Former President.
