“Evrything Africa” This Weekend!

Looking for an event to attend this weekend in the DMV? The Evrything Africa Conference promises a culturally rich 3-day event that will amass the U.S.-based pan-African community.

Heli Amare, the Founder said that, “The purpose of our conference is to find ways to invest back into our native communities and share our varied cultures in ways that will change people’s perceptions of Africa and how they respond to it.”

The 3-day event will be held in Washington D.C., home to one of the most diverse African communities in the U.S. The goal is to:

  1. Use the power of cultural experiences to change the narrative about Africa
  2. Provide ways for the Pan-African community to invest in our native communities, whether monetarily or non-monetarily
  3. Network to create business opportunities and spark ideas

The schedule:

EVA The Welcome Party: Day 1

12 Stories

75 District Square SW 12th floor, Washington, DC 20024

8:00 pm – 2:00 am

————————-

EVA The Conference: Day 2

Eaton DC – Wild Days Rooftop

1201 K St. NWDC

2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

EVA Social Hour Sponsored by I/O Spaces

(same location as above)

6:00pm – 7:00pm

“Evrything Africa is honored to have I/O Spaces as a sponsor for our first year; it has been a place in the community where I have personally felt supported as an Afropreneur. The opportunity to host events, work from, and build my network within an African-owned space right here in the DMV is a privilege for me. We would be remiss if we did not have Leslie and his team on board, as they continually contribute to our community’s advancement.” – Heli Amare

EVA The Culture Brunch with Amplify Africa and Umu Igbo Unite (UIU): Day 3

Karma DC

2221 Adams Pl NE, Washington, DC 20018
